This body of work captures the fleeting moments of every day life.
Sculpture
I learned from artisans in the stone quarries of Portugal about the beauty of working with raw stone. Inspired by the works of modern masters Alberto Giacometti and Constantin Brancusi my early sculptures were minimalist renderings of the female form. These works were carved in Portuguese and Carrara marbles, bronze works were cast in traditional methods of bronze casting, including sand casting and lost wax.
